The Kindness of Strangers

It's the final stretch to Maker Faire! Neighborhood Knits has been collecting and receiving donations for the Purl St. Scarf Project from some very kind strangers. Look!

What a great stash for the Faire goers to choose from! Thank you to all the generous donors!

We also received a beautiful, fun scarf swatch from Carrie Hura!

Thank you, Carrie! Remember, you, too, can add to the scarf if you can't come to Maker Faire. Drop it by Neighborhood Knits if you happen to be in the area or send it there, Attention: Carolyn. The scarf will be 12 inches wide so a 3, 6, or 12 inch width swatch would work. You can use any type of yarn and stitch pattern. Maker Faire is July 31 and August 1, so there still is time!

Tennessee Williams was right, you can rely on the kindness of strangers.
